It’s important that College Board has an email address for you that you can access from where you are. We’ll be sending important information and updates to you by email. We’ll also email you the e-ticket that gives you access to your exam. The deadline for updating the email address where you want us to send your May AP Exam information is Thursday, May 7, 5:30 p.m. ET.
1. Sign in to your College Board account.
Sign in to My AP with your College Board username and password.
2. Confirm—or change—your email address.
Click on your profile in the top right-hand corner. Then click Account Settings, which will open a page called Update Your College Board Account. Check the email address we have on file for you, and make sure it’s the one you want to use to receive your AP Exam e-ticket.
If you need to change this email address (for example, if you can’t access this email account from home or you don’t check this email address often), type in your preferred email address and then scroll down and click Update.
3. Make sure you’re subscribed to College Board emails.
On the same Update Your College Board Account page, click Manage my email subscriptions. Confirm that you’ve checked the box to receive updates from College Board.
4. Make sure your email account recognizes College Board emails.
Sign in to your email account and add [email protected] to your “approved sender” or “safe sender” list and/or add this email address to your contacts in your email account.
If you forget your username or password, don’t create another account.
If you forgot your username, click “forgot username,” and then submit the email address associated with your College Board account. We'll email you all of the usernames associated with your account and indicate which are associated with a College Board test record.
If you forgot your password, click forgot password. Submit the username and email address associated with your account. Answer your security question. If you can’t answer it, click reset your password on the security question page to have password reset instructions emailed to you.
